SHERYL YIP
THE DESIGNER
Born and raised in Hong Kong, and living in Copenhagen since 2019, I had a strong passion for fashion and design when I was young. I studied fashion design in Swedish School of Textiles and Haute Couture Design in Central St. Martins, London before designing for high-end fashion brands, celebrities and influencers in Hong Kong.
From season 2017 to 2020, I was the bridal designer for a London bridal brand, Catherine Deane, where my designs have been dressed by hundreds of real brides around the globe including Denmark, UK, Germany and US. Those gowns are sold internationally by BHLDN, IAmYours Germany as well as few Copenhagen bridal shops.
I am passionate in designing and constructing bespoke and couture dresses, and have been designing wedding gowns to brides since 2014. With years of experience in fashion and bridal from concept to garment production, Sheryl Yip Atelier is finally set-up at Copenhagen in 2020.
My Vision
In Sheryl Yip Bridal, dressing yourself well-fitted to your personality and body-figure is the strongest fashion statement. I love designing bespoke to brides because no woman is the same. Customization is one of the way of self-expression. I believe this is a way to provoke and empower woman’s femininity and confidence.
